Built Works Tenant Improvements

Curtis Miner Architecture worked closely with the owner to convert an existing supplement manufacturing facility to a company headquarters that manufactures and distributes nutrition bars. The project focused on transforming numerous small rooms and infrastructure into a large open sanitary manufacturing space. The new space had to accommodate six 250-foot-long production lines and storage freezers while ensuring the mechanical and electrical infrastructure systems tied into the metric production machinery built in China. CMA’s redesign also included updated employee breakrooms, locker rooms, and existing skylights that provide natural daylight, saving energy costs and improving employee productivity.

The office spaces echo the company’s brand with simple and sophisticated interiors and include viewing areas of the production warehouse and recipe lab, allowing potential investors insight into the company’s operations. CMA updated the main entry exterior with a design that is an extension of the interiors to draw the attention of visitors and put the finishing touches on a unified design and use of this entire facility.
