Deseret First Credit Union Branch – Bountiful
Curtis Miner Architecture (CMA) has been assisting Desert First Credit Union (DFCU) for several years with the design of their Corporate Headquarters and the development of a branch prototype that was first implemented at DFCU’s Taylorsville branch. Recently, the credit union asked CMA to update the prototype for a new branch in Bountiful to create more of a street presence and more openness to the interior.
The new Bountiful branch design will set the standard for future branches with contemporary finishes and a taller façade. Similar to the previous prototype, the exteriors smartly combine aluminum composite panels, brick, and tile with the warmth of wood panels.
CMA designed a more prominent street-side presence and an exterior rope feature light that grabs the public’s attention. A large glass wall faces the street to allow for digital interior displays to be visible to the public. These displays create additional advertising and public engagement options not available through exterior signage.
