Security Metrics Tenant Improvement

The developer, contractor, and design team collaborated to create an economically tailored five story class “A” office building with on-grade parking.  Floor plans were refined to meet new specific tenant requirements, including increasing headroom in the west wing basement floor by two feet to provide a large open floor area for large group needs.

Work areas combine low profile furnishings and exposed ceilings to reinforce a company culture of openness. Floor to ceiling exterior glazing and transparent spaces transmit daylight and views throughout each floor.  Otherwise utilitarian braced frame structure is expressed and highlighted on each floor as the focal point of large conference rooms. Exercise, recreation, and large group meetings are accommodated in the carefully detailed, partially daylit basement. Simple yet functional design was the principle that guided decisions throughout the project. The Security Metrics Office Building is prominently located on the Orem, Utah bench, creating views of Utah Valley and the Wasatch mountains.
